Directions EMEA 2025: Innovation, AI, and the Future of Business Central

From 4-6 November 2025, the Navtech team was in the beautiful city of Poznan for Directions EMEA 2025. The annual conference is the biggest partner event for Business Central, uniting the Microsoft Dynamics community by bringing the latest updates and supporting collaboration & knowledge sharing. Our team spent great few days in Poznan, Poland, enjoying the event, meetings with so many partners and friends, and the city’s warm and friendly atmosphere.

With a wide range of topics presented at Directions EMEA 2025, there truly was something for everyone - consultants, project managers, sales and marketing professionals, developers, and more. Here’s how we will try to summarize these three days full of inspiration and networking.
 

New Business Central Logo
Microsoft announced a new logo for Dynamics 365 Business Central – a fresh new branding that highlights a new era coming up... a revolution towards innovation, the power of AI and modernity. One thing is for sure – we love it!

The leading ERP system for SMBs has reached the milestone of over 50 000 users – a network that is constantly growing.
 

AI Agents: А Shift in How We Work
 
  • Sales Order Agent
The Sales Order Agent was the first Agent that Microsoft introduced during Directions EMEA 2024 and this year it is ready for public remarkable speed and precision. How? The Agent reads emails and attachments, picks the right ship-to address from multiple registered addresses, handles customer communication automatically, adjusts the quotes and even creates sales orders. The Sales Order Agent handles these processes independently which allows you to save time manual tasks and respond faster to customers – improving the overall service experience.
 
  • Payables Agent
The Payables Agent was introduced during the opening keynote at Directions EMEA 2025, offering smart suggestions for invoice drafts. How does it work? The Payables Agent learns from your purchase invoice processing history - how similar invoices were handled in the past. For example, if you’ve used the Agent to post marketing-related invoices to a specific General Ledger account, the next time you receive a similar invoice from the same vendor, it will automatically suggest that same G/L account. And as we continue using and guiding the Agent in our daily tasks, it becomes more intelligent, gains more context, and delivers increasingly accurate recommendations.
 
  • Expense Agent
The Expense Agent is the latest AI Agent developed by Microsoft, and although it’s not available yet, we already know it will automate expense management for business trips and events. We can’t wait to see it in action.

Copilot in Business Central
As Microsoft continues to advance its AI capabilities, Copilot is becoming smarter and significantly enhancing user productivity. You can generate summaries faster and gain a better understanding of information, with richer insights into records and data directly from your ERP system.
